This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It's written to be read rather than to cover us, so if something is unclear please ask.
Who is responsible for your data
Finna Group AB, org.nr 559530-3784, is the data controller. That means we decide what is collected and what happens to it, and we are the ones you hold to account. You can reach us at any time on the address at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
Only what you send us through the contact form. That's your name, your company, your email address and whatever you write in the message field. We don't ask for anything else and there's nowhere on this site to upload a CV.
Why we have it, and what allows us to keep it
We use it to reply to you and to carry on the conversation if it goes somewhere. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about a search. You got in touch, so replying is what you would expect. If you would rather we did not hold it, tell us and we will delete it.
Who else sees it
Two companies, and only because the site runs on their services. Netlify host the site and pass on anything you send through the contact form. Google serve the two typefaces the site uses, which means your browser asks them for those files and they see your IP address in the process. Neither is given your information to use for their own purposes.
Where it goes
Netlify and Google are both US companies, so your message and your IP address may be handled outside the UK and the EEA. Both operate under the standard contractual clauses approved for those transfers, and both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
For as long as the conversation is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case it starts again. If you'd rather we didn't, say so and it goes.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to us holding it, or ask us to restrict what we do with it. Email us and we'll do it. You don't need a reason and it costs nothing.
If you are not happy with us
Tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a data protection regulator without speaking to us at all. In Sweden that is the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (imy.se). In the UK it is the Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk).
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies at all. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and nothing that follows you to other sites. That is why you have not been asked to accept anything. If we add analytics later, this page will say so and you will get the choice first.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. There is no version history to dig through, because the current version is the only one that applies.
